Villa Pietralunga, built in
1910 by the will of Baron Nunzio Nicosia, a
landlord and expert enologist, has recently been
transformed in a typical and elegant
agritourism. The agricultural premises
and the stables have been converted into spacious
halls and charming apartments that are now open to
guests.

overlooks a luxuriant valley with secular oak
woods, almond trees, olive trees and
vineyards.
A parallel dimension surrounded by
the nature and the beauty of a wild and magic
earth: an outpost for your explorations or a
corner of quietness and contemplation to recover
peace and wellbeing.
THE APARTMENTS
The ancient
stable is today a large and comfortable
living-room, with a stone fireplace and a cooking
corner obtained from one of the horse
stalls.
The rooms and the apartments look on to
the living-room. Each of them is individually
equipped with its own bathroom and heating
system.
Guests may, on request, have breakfast
and/or dinner with delicious dishes of the
sicilian tradition.
THE SURROUNDINGS
In the
vicinity you can find the famous roman mosaics of
Piazza Armerina, the Sperlinga rocky Castle, the
necropolis and the archeological sites, the lakes
and the wonderful natural parks.
Moreover,
every year the nearby villages offer a rich
program of religious and country festivals.
THE ACTIVITIES
Villa
Pietralunga offers the opportunity of practicing
sport activities – from guided excursions to horse
or bike rides – or of following the agricultural
activities of the farm – from the vintage to the
olive harvest or the sheep-shearing. Furthermore
it offers sicilian cooking courses, ping-pong and
bowls, visits of the Villa’s enological museum,
relaxing treatments and shiatzsu.

The “Barrels
Village”: a playground dedicated to children,
obtained by the famous oak barrels of Nicosia
Barons.
